Training
Able to train on Human Resource subjects and have been doing this for the Wales Cooperative Centre for Community First Groups. Also have worked for the North Wales Workers Educatioanl Association as a trainer.The range of specific subject areas include Recruitment and Selection, Management of Volunteers,Quality Customer Care, GenderMainstraming, Equal Opportunties, Effective Committee Work, Policy and Proceedurs, Employment Law, Foundation in Mangement Skills, Effective Communication, Marketing, Training the Trainer, Office Administration Skills, Team Building and Strategic Planning.
Lecturing
Able to lecture on Human Resource subjects and PGCE and have exerience of this with Coleg Menai and Bangor University. At Coleg Meani I was teaching on the MBA franchise from the University of Glamorgan, and on the NEBSM (now ILM) as well as the CIPD Professional Developemt Programme. At Bangor University I did teach in the Department of Agri-Forestry on Personnel Management and in the Social Science Department on Managing Volunteers.
Consultancy
Able to carry our Identification of Training Need and have done this for the Wales Cooperative Centre for Credit Unions also involved with the Communities First Support Network on Best Practice Case Studies for Communities First projects I have been involved as a consultant with private companies on human resource issues which did involve confidentiality..
Organisational Development
Able to help organisations develop a strategic plan. Have done this work for NGOs in Romania and for the Internatioanal Fellowship of Reconciliation
Assessment and Verification
Able to assess NVQs in the field of Learning and Development and Human Resources. Presently working for City and Guilds and CIPD as an External Verifier and as an Assessor on the V2 and A1 awards for the CIPD.
Translation
Able to translate between the Welsh and English languages.I have done this in the field of Further Education and Learning and Development At present working on a contractual basis for SVUK as required.
